Rivian R1 Driver Workstation

Drivers workstation handmade from a single piece of solid hardwood (cherry, red oak, maple, etc..) designed for the Rivian R1S and R1T. This workstation ranges from 3/4in to 1in in thickness and is designed rest between the driver’s door handle and the center console. All edges are generously routed and sanded to eliminate sharp edges. It utilizes a raised platform mouse pad for better ergonomics and has a center handle for ease of positioning.

WARNING: DO NOT USE WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION! SERIOUS INJURY CAN OCCUR IF THE WORKSTATION IS IN USE DURING A VEHICLE ACCIDENT!

Wood Types (refer to gallery picture for comparison):

• Cherry – Ranges from rich red to reddish-brown. Features a straight grain with a fine texture, often exhibiting small gum pockets and brown pith flecks. The lightest and softest option for this product. Product weight is approximately 7lbs.
• Red Oak – Ranges from light to medium brown with a medium grain structure. Product is sanded smooth but still has more grain texture than the other two options. The hardest and most durable option for this product. Product weight is approximately 10lbs. The grain appearance on this wood resembles the Rivian “Ash Wood” and “Driftwood” interior options.
• Maple – Very light in color with a grain structure that varies from straight to wavy. Mid-level hardness with a very smooth surface texture. Product weight is approximately 9lbs. The grain appearance on this wood resembles the Rivian “Walnut Wood” interior option.

Details:

• Handmade so no two will be the same, but expect minor imperfections due to variations in the material
• This product is bare wood, however a customer specified stain and/or polyurethane coating is an optional add-on (see “Related Products” at the bottom of this page)
• A sheet of adhesive backed felt is included with the order in case the customer wants to add a layer of protection between the workstation and the Rivian plastic components
• Price includes shipping and taxes
